Our Sea Trips
Located in the heart of the Corsican Regional Natural Park and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Gulf of Porto is breathtaking with its red granite cliffs towering over the sea. Several remarkable sites are absolutely worth discovering: the *Calanques de Piana* to the south, the *Girolata Peninsula*, and the *Scandola Nature Reserve* to the north.
**Northern Part**
The *Scandola Nature Reserve* is a jewel of the Regional Natural Park, created in 1976.
It appears as a natural fortress, with volcanic rock formations that shelter a diverse range of marine and terrestrial species. After discovering this wonder, you will no longer think of Corsica as merely an extension of the French Riviera.
Hidden behind *Capo Senino*, the charming fishing village of Girolata, famous for its lobsters, is a true paradise. Accessible only by sea or via a challenging hike along the *Facteur's Path* from Osani, Girolata and its small fortress will leave a lasting impression on you with its unique charm and local community.
**Southern Part**
With granite cliffs plunging into the sea, the *Calanques de Piana*, rising approximately 300 meters high, are one of Corsica's natural wonders. Their striking colors and rock formations, shaped by erosion, make this part of the Gulf of Porto unforgettable. The nearby sea caves, close to *Capo Rosso*, crowned by a Genoese Tower, add to the magic of the experience.
